I can sort of understand a life long R voter supporting him in 2016. The news at the time didn’t really dig into his nonsense too much, and the worst of his criminality was not on full display.

2020? No. There’s less of an excuse.

After Jan 6th? Those people are insane and need to not be allowed in public until they spend a long time watching something other than the conservative brainwashing channels.

The “Grab them by the pussy” tape was public before the 2016 election. You have to do some impressive gymnastics to take from that “this guy is alright”. Or just be a horrible person to begin with.

But really republicans are bad people. Maybe some of them are redeemable, but a lot of them we’d be better off if they dropped dead.

This is some absolute nonsense. We all knew he was a criminal, a bigot, a misogynist and an aspiring fascist before election day 2016. None of this information was unavailable to anyone. Stop making excuses for people that voted for Trump in 2016. They made their decision and I hope they’re never allowed to forget what they did because they haven’t learned a damn thing and never will. These are the exact same people that were lining up to do it all over again with DeSantis before his campaign launched and the whole world saw he can’t hack it outside of Florida.

He’s closer to the Republican base than the so-called moderate Republicans. He was just saying the things out loud that were couched in dog-whistles when other candidates said it.

People (not me) made mistakes though, and many learned from them. If you still support Trump and the MAGA crowd, however… you’re irredeemable.

Yeah, people were sick of the status quo and craved something different. They saw that potential in Trump when he was running initially, and that crippled their judgment. The following 4 years were an absolute disaster, which prompted some reflection in… a disappointingly low percentage of Trump’s voters. The ones who watched our country burn for 4 years and decided “fuck yeah, I want more of that!” are just plain traitors.

Further evidence of trumps inability to just shut the fuck up… he’s not capable and proves it to us everyday.

That may be nice for the trial but that doesn’t take away the fact that the world has become an significantly unsafer place with this babble mouth casually sharing top secret intel with god knows who else.

      Trump is herpes?

Yeah. I suppose it fits, but I’d have gone something much less mild.

    “I just bombed Iraq today”

Remember when Trump was passing off his father’s real estate holdings as his own? Some things never change.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

He just says whatever the fuck he wants, and he loves to shock people,” Pratt, a businessman with a reported net worth of $9 billion, said of Trump.

Pratt is listed as a potential witness to testify against Trump in a case brought by special counsel Jack Smith regarding his mishandling of classified information, and he reportedly shared information with prosecutors about Trump revealing to him sensitive intelligence regarding U.S. nuclear submarines, including how many warheads the subs usually carry and how close they could get to Russian submarines before they are detected.

Pratt also bragged on tape that Trump shared with him some of the contents of a private conversation with then-president of Iraq Barham Salih.

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton told 60 Minutes Australia that the conversations Pratt described are “typical Trump behavior” and said that announcements of military operations are usually delayed “so that we can be sure that those who carried it out are back safe home.”

In the recordings, Pratt said Trump told him, “I asked Melania to walk around the pool in a bikini so all the other guys could get a look at what they were missing.”

Pratt, a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, courted Trump to garner influence, even paying an inflated cost of $1 million on tickets to a the Palm Beach club’s New Year’s Eve gala — far above the actual $50,000 cost per ticket, a witness told prosecutors, according to The New York Times.
